MORRIS PARK SPRING STAKES The stakes to be run at Morris Park which closed February 3 received a grand total of 564 entries not averaging nearly as well as the Sheepshead Shepherd Bay and Gravesend Graves stakes The truth is the Westchester Esthete Association was con ¬ spicuously spaciously stingy in the matter of added money to these stakes and as a proper consequence have suffered in the way of entries Still they will no doubt produce good racing The lead ¬ ing King event the Metropolitan Handicap has the following entry list of good horses Merry Prince Octagon Don dOro Dora Typhoon II Nuto Nut Caldron Royal Stag Ogden Isidor Insider Sensation ¬ al Michael III Sly Fox Ben Eder Edger Cleophus Cloths Previous Handball Ben Holladay Holland Lehman George Keene Imperator Blueaway Bleary Dema Derma ¬ gogue gigue Sailor King Winged Foot Premier Blue Devil Bowling Brook VarusXiOU Version Bramble Tillo Till Algol Macy Marcy Presbyterian Dobride Oxbridge Dr Catlett Cattle and LAlouette Aflutter Notes Of The Turf.
