BONEY BONY BOY AGAIN Boney Bony Boy ran again yesterday at Lakeside and for the fourth time during the week deliv deli red the goods He was in the second race which was at one mile and won all the way liter the race Virginia Bradley loaded the colt along with the rest of his horses on the ears and shipped to Washington where he will take part In the racing at Bennings Jennings After that Mr Bradley goes to New Orleans and it is safe to say that Boney Bony Boy has a severe campaign in front of him That the colt is a wonder and has an iron constitution is beyond a doubt He was an even money chance for yesterdays race and Bradley thought he was a oertain pertain winner The long Virginian informed Mr Schorr Scorer that h thought the colt w S better BOW than he ever was before claiming that none of his races were hard ones and did not hurt him in the least Seaton Eaton rode him and getting him off in front was never headed After the first half mile of the journey had been traversed it was evident that he would win winBoanerges intoner Boanerges Beaneries won the fifth race in hollow style Tl7x olt bolt is a wonder in the mud when he has an ordinary field to beat but when he meets horses of about his own class that can go right along with him from the start he weakens and quits He had 120 pounds up but the talent figured that the field he had to beat was an inferior one and that he had speed enough to get so far in front as never to be caught These calculations proved to be correct for Boanerges Beaneries getting off in the lead was never headed Bloss Loss kept him in close to the rail where the going was sloppy and he ran like a scared hare Passing the stand he was two lengths to the good and this lead was increased to eight lengths before the three quarter post was reached Down the back stretch he flew and with Bloss Loss holding a tight grip on the reins he headed for home with an advantage of five lengths By this time all behind him were beaten but Bloss Loss took no chances and coming right on about his business was ten open lengths in the lead at the end Swordsman whb hob Was second all the way got the place by a neck in a hard drive from Prince Blazes The latter ran a cracking good race after being interfered with on the firet fret turn turnThe turtle The afternoo afternoon n was pleasant and the sky bright overhead but the track was sloppy and slippery It was a grand day for the talent They picked the first five winners and it is re ¬ ported the ring lost a generous aggregate of money moneyCzarowitz Czarowitz Carbonize started the ball rolling in the first race Tommy Burns rode him and he was always an even money favorite He got away in front and with the exception of an instant down the backstretch when Idle Hour headed him he led all the way and won in a common gallop Summer Sea who has been showing good turns of speed in all of his races but has been stopping before going the full journey hung on longer than usual and was second two lengths in front of Alvin W WThe The The second was the Boney Bony Boy race and the At third went to OConnell O'Connell In this race the noid nod seemed well balanced and betting on it was extremely lively OConnell O'Connell was favorite and went to the post at even money after being backed down from G to 5 After dodging around at the post for nearly ten minutes Dwyer finally got the field lined up and sen seen them away al meat on even terms OConnoll O'Connell was in front Judge Steadman Seaman second and Silver Set third Braw Lad and Newsgatherer Newscaster brought up the rear Passing the threequarter treasurer post OConnell O'Connell had a lead of a length Silver Set was second and Braw Lad third Down the backstretch Braw Lad set sail for OConnell O'Connell and at the half mile ground the pair were lapped on Newsgatherer Newscaster was now third and seemed to have a chance to win On the far turn Braw Lad cracked and at about the same time OConnell O'Connell parted com ¬ pany panky with Newtgatherer From there on there was nothing to the race the Speirs Piers castoff hav have ¬ ing King everything his own way As OConnell O'Connell was passing the eighth post and Dean was sitting still one of his admirers who had a voice like a buzzsaw buzzes screamed out Come on Willie It sounded so queer that the crowd at once picked it up and from every corner of the stand the same screechy yell was repeated OCon Econ ¬ nell almost walked in two and a half lengths in front of Newsgatherer Newscaster who beat Sea Robber five lengths for the place placeThere placate There was a lot of speed in the fourth race which was at five furlongs and it furnished the most exciting feature of the day Canova Canoga with Bnrns Burns up was the post favorite at even money At the first break the field was sent away with Dave Waldo Weald in the lead He did not remain there long though for quicker than a wink both Frank Bell and Billy Mason passed him and stepping the first quarter in 241 seconds were five lengths in front of the field The pair went the three furlongs in 36i This was all Billy Mason wanted and ho stopped almost to a walk Frank Beil Bail kept on and gave liis leis backers a good run for their money being beaten only a head by Canova Canoga The latter owes his victory to Burns who rode almost a perfect race He waited in a good position the first three furlongs and thus avoided the early pace which considering the condition of the track was terrific He never made a move until the stretch and although Canova Canoga Was very tired he nursed him nicely and won on the post by a nock Frank Bell beat Dave Waldo Weald who was poorly ridden three quarters of a length for the place placeIt placket It was almost dark when the last race was run and Johnny Williams getting a flying start won otf oft by himself himselfFollowing himself Following is a list of owners and horses that will leave for New Orleans Nov 17 They have all been racing at the Chicago tracks C
