He was pocketed under a choking pull to the stretch, where he was jostled and nearly went down, essayed an almost impossible task, but with clear sailing he finished like a whirlwind. Wealth, steadily improving, waited on the pacemaker, moved to the front on the turn and looked all over a winner and was unprepared for Operator's challenge at the end. Argregor displayed a fine turn of speed in running close up from the start and finished fast. Grand Opera went well throughout, but lacked brilliancy, as he beat the gate but hadn't speed enough to take advantage of it. Handicapper was fast for six furl longs. Ada Nay found the distance short and was closing very strong at the end. BUNCO BRONCHO INFORMATION CO., 94 LINCOLN AVE. Evelyn Byrd, 5 to I, and won easily, was the "cinch" good thing wired every one of my clients yesterday, and, of course, they all cleaned up on it; but then that is nothing unusual with Ernest's clients, because they are always getting the money. Besides working early and late myself at the track I have got in my employ two of the best track experts in the business, and it is to one of them that I owe yesterday's winner. On my form and figures I could not, and neither was any of the Chicago handicappers (according to their sheets), able to get "Evelyn Byrd" past the wire first, but one of my track experts saw a little quiet "work in the mud early in the week by this one, aid made such a convincing report that after verifying it by personal talks with "those connected" that my clients profited accordingly. This should prove to every one following racing that real genuine inside stable information cashes your tickets. You might not always win, but the chances of loss are reduced to a minimum, and my clients for years have found my tips not only a source of pleasure but profit. The proof of my success is my years of continuous prosperity. I have clients on my list who have been with me uninterruptedly since 1898, playing my advice, east, west and south. Monday of this week I wired "Sigmund, which won at 15 to 1. Tuesday every client received "Wild Pirate," which was backed from 25 to 1 to 10 to 1 and finished third. Bead the Bacing Form's chart and you will see that "Wild Pirate" was only beaten two noses by a "fluke." With this kind of information on tap, and my fair method of doing business is it surprising that I not only retain my subscribers year in and year out, but make new ones daily? I pay good money for my information : seDd all telegrams by my special code, in order to nrotect my stable friends; AM NOT AN IMITATOE, BUT POSITIVELY THE OBIGINATOB of the PAY AFTER YOU WIN idea. Instead of money in advance, bet $2 for me on the horse I wire you. Bemit honestly and promptly, and I'll make up some of your past losses for you and put you on the winning side in short order. Enclose 25 cents with your application, only as a deposit and guarantee that you will accept telegrams. I will then immediately mail you my new July code. Address, Frod Ernest, P. O. B. A. Smith, acting for G. A. Davis, bid up Cherished, which won the closing race yesterday, to $900, at which price Albert Simons, her owner, let her go. Simons claimed Marshal Neil, which belonged to Mr. Davis, out of a selling race several days ago for $1,580. Jockey Coburn did not have a mount yesterday. He was engaged to have the leg up on four horses, but the heavy condition of the track caused the owners to scratch them out. Jockey Buchanan, who was fined $50 and set down for three days by the starter on Tuesday, was permitted to ride out his engagements yesterday. Jockey Howell arrived yesterday from Fort Erie. He will do the riding for W. M. Bogers, who got in from St. Louis yesterday with Fitzkanet, Colonial Girl, Dean Swift, Brixton and others. Botany, which was a starter in the second race, caused a fifteen minutes delay at the post by crazy actions. From the stand it seemed as if Starter Dwyer missed two good opportunities to let them go. But Mr. Dwyer statod that Botany crossed the field every time he raised the barrier. Washington Park Form WASHINGTON PARK FORM. Lucien Appleby showed himself a colt of good class yesterday by giving away much weight to everything in the fourth race and winning m a sensational finish by a head from Frangible, which beat Conundrum the same distance for second place. Buchanan laid along last with him for the first six and a half furlongs and then moved up fast turning into the stretch, about a length and a half bel)Utfthe leader. Down the final quarter, Lucien fllr, when called upon, moved up fast and K great gameness in the stirring last six-struggle with Frangible. Buchanan ap-to purposely draw tho finish a little fine BT Lucien Appleby could probably have won by a Hrger margin. Conundrum finished strongly and Ian by far the best race of his career. Peat ran to Ihis beat form, but was running against horses of I ' a c t I t 1 j i 1 I 1 , higher class than he has been meeting heretofore. Brulare, as usual, showed much speed for seven furlongs, but lacks heart and tired perceptibly when the last eighth struggle came up. Evelyn Byrd took the day's opener in an exciting drive by a neck from Semicolon, which beat Guy H. length for second place. Evelyn Byrd revelled in the going and ran to her best form. King Barleycorn showed early speed, but fell away beaten when turning for home. With Federal scratched, Jack Battlin appeared to have the second race, a dash of six furlongs, at his mercy. He was made an even money favorite and won as the betting indicated. He finished well in hand, two and a half lengths before Fake, which beat Wellesley ten for second place. Fake ran a good race and bears watching from now on. Botany showed a little early speed. Of the ten two-year-oms that faced the barrier in the third race, Eva Bussell proved the best, winning in a desperate drive by a head from Mirance, with M aghoni a good third. Eva Bussell showed the most speed and stood a long, hard drive with gameness. Glendon began slowly, but moved up fast when turning for home and finished strongly. Claude showed much early speed. Jessie Jarboe played with the field in the fifth race, leading all the way and winning in fa canter by four lengths from Vincennes. which beat Lennep five for second place. The last named tired fast when the pinch came. Jaubert was taken next to the inside rail in the worst going while coming down the last quarter, which anchored him. Cherished took the last race in easy fashion by three lengths from Lee King, which beat Digby Bell five for second place. Digby Bell was the victim of an ill judged ride. Waldo got him all tangled up at the first turn and then rashed him too fast down the backstretch. This killed off whatever chances the horse had of winning, and he tired fast when challenged by Cherished in the last eighth. Alene Abbott and Hylo showed well for six furlongs. The usual large crowd was present despite the fact that it rained almost continually all afternoon. The track at the best will be heavy and holding today. November 321 Washington (Bennings) .Novamber 10 2S The Rancocas Sale THE RANCOCAS SALE. Before the races began at Sheepshead Bay Monday the yearlings from Rancocas Stock Farm were offered for sale in tho Fasig-Tipton Company's paddocks. This is the first time in several years that the full produce of the Rancocas Farm has been offered, as the late Pierre Lorillard raced the best in England. Many in the lot which sold for around $1,000 would have probably brought many times that amount in England. The highest amount given was $1,500, F. R. Hitchcock paying this price for the sister to Petra II., a chestnut filly by Pontiac Poncho. The filly by The Sailor Prince Rizpah went to P. Lorillard for $400. This is a sister to Diakka and Revera, winners in England of $30,000. Other disappointing sales were the filly by The Sailor Prince Saluda, sister to Sandia and Sibola, winner of the 1,000 guineas, which Tom Welch secured for $1,000, and the sister to Caiman, winner of $55,853 in England up to 1902.
