Petra H. is a consistent and game Ally, stood a drive to dispose of Double Six and had enough left at the end to stall off Clorita. The latter was in next to the rail to the last furlong and did not get through in time and should have won. Andrattus finished fast. Double Six was plainly short, but held on well at the end and would have been third with a strong finish. Oclawaha received a poor start. Neither One is high in flesh and ran well for nearly five furlongs. Brisk showed much speed and hung on well under a drive. The Talisman ran well, but was tiring at the end. Cherubim finished fast and would have been third in a few more strides. There was a lot of crowding and interference when Mark Cheek fell and Paul Clifford suffered most. The last five at the start did not have a chance. ' Overweights — Farcraft, 2 pounds; Harrison, 1. She tired toward the finish and was swerving badly at the end. Ninepin stood a long stretch drive well and outgamed Wizard. The latter appeared to be the winner in the stretch, but tired when Gannon called on him for a final effort. Termagant was always outrun. Sweet Alice, practically left at the post, made up a lot of ground. Flying Buttress was always outrun. Bonnibert is not up to a hard race.
