seerelary Nathanson has announced a special program to be offered at Oriental Park Monday March ± 1 when the receipts will be devoted to the Hoosevelt Me ¬ morial Fund The card which is a varied and at ¬ tractive one should be the means of bringing out on that day a banner attendance Eleven mixed races are to be run live to be regular races and the other novelty affairs with the following program The two lirst are over hurdles with three obstacles for army ollicers at a quarter of a mile a second race for Camp Columbia Shetland ponies the third race a regular race the fourth for army ollicers mounted on thoroughbreds the fifth for army pri ¬ vates riding their own mounts at a quarter of a mile then follows live regular races after which there will be a race for army mules a distance of one mile mileHetween Hetween the second and third races six hundred soldiers comprising infantry cavalry and the signal corps will make camp at the center of the field and break camp at the conclusion The Tnfter early in the race An interesting finish found Kiku the winner by a safe margin with Hubbub second and Major Domo third Hubbub made most of tin running at a fast pace but failed badly in the
