my first school Well do I remember my father hunting for me a boarding plate that I might be near a schopl house This boarding place Was at the home of R S Forman one half mile west of Bowen When it came time for me to take up abode in my new quarters my big brother JJwas detailed to hopus me on the sorrel niore and we had a long talk as we strode along honssuring me that the teacher would not be rough with me from the fact she was a staunclrfriend our mother teacher was MrsMargretWhite mother of Hon J B White now representative of the 10th Ky Congressional district She was a model lady and a
