The Kentucky Oil Coal Lutn Tier Company of Detroit Mich is planning to operate on an ex pensive scale in its large holdings in Kentucky during the coming year This company is now operating in Wolfe county Ky where the Standard Oil Compa ny is now making a survey pre paratory to laying a branch pipe line connecting this field with its main pipe line It is said by experienced oil men that Wolfe county is destined to prove an excellent oil field There are now about a dozen producing wells in the county and others aro being rapidly drilled The inducements for more active work in this section will of course increase when the pipe line is completed so there will be a market for the oil It is now a certain ty that there will bo agreat deal of activity in Wolfe county dur ing the coming more deserving for such recognition at the hands of his party than Bro Irvin His standing both as a gentleman and a minister of the gospel is far above reproach and he would not enter the race under
