Cabbage Now that the cabbage snake is a certainty many people are abandoning their crops of cab bake and letting it rot in the patch Would it not be a good plan to gather up all the cabbage and other trash such as weeds r and doad grass and pile them in aJyjap and burn them If these snakes are propagated through the agency of eggs would not the leaving of the dead cabbage on the ground be the means of so impregnating the soil with their eggs that should the same place be used another year for some other crop who knows but what these dangerous reptiles might next be found in ears of corn and any other plants that would afford them a hiding place Therefore ball means let us destroy his snakeship by means of a good roasting fire a Mrs A 11 Burgher and Mrs N 11 Swope ale visiting their
