Bon A Crutcher present The instructions to the grand jury were very unplesout to the violators of the local op tion law A number of cases have been disposed of among being two cases against T P Cole for selling liquor in lo cal option territory He was fin sixty dollars in each case and being unable to pay this amount was sent to jail to serve out the fine Hogs Dying of Cholera R T Kennon of Vaughns Mill has cholera among his fine bunch of hogs and has had al ready thirty choice hogs weigh ing form 160 to 200 pounds to die of this trouble The disease is now abating however and it is believed that but few more will die of this trouble The disease is confined to the one bunch Land Sold T J Kirk bought a boundary of land west of the city from Kentucky Union Company to be surveyed at kinds of printers mate rial had made another advance The size type we use now costs us 40 cents perpound while we used to buy the same type at 20 cents per pound We use a lot of typo that is still very much higher Some paper wo use is nearly fifty per cent higher than a few years back while all pa per used in the printing office ad vanced greatly about three weeks ago A few more advances will knock all 60 cents papers out of businessSince the above was set in type we have received a new list price which makes the un precedented advance on the type mentioned above still 14 cents on the
