bill passed by the last session of the Legislature has been decided unconstitutional by the Court of Appeals This means a decrease in the Democratic membership of the next Legislature and an increas ed Republican membership This redistricting measure was not what it should have been and not what it could have been and at the same time produced good results for the party in power The change in this and the Wolfe district is cited as unfair and truly it isUnder the now bill the single county of Wolfe was made a Legislative district while Lee was added to the Es tillPowell district Powell could have been put with Wolfe with the same political effect and the districts would have been much nearer equal in population And similar existed in oth affected districts As formerly Estill and his pocket as if to give it to Tarpy when he began shooting wound ing Tarpy as above stated Bal lard then grabbed Oldham and a wrestle ensued when Tarpy who had fallen on n bed raised up and slot Oldlmm twice in the head killing him instantly Oldham had robbed Pharis store at Ruckerville about one monthago but the evidence pointing to his guilt had just been confirmed Ho was sent to the four
