connties usually get andI1t the lute election two Republican1 ran for the Legislature The regular candidate was declared elected and in a contest which ensued some of the evidence shows the manner in which the immense Republican majorities in tle Eleventh District are pil ed upOne of the depositions which was absolutely uncontroverted declared that fifty men had been brought across the Virginia lino in the recent election to vote for Cornett and the State Republican ticket Another deposition recited that one man who had been in the habit for many years of always being the first man to vote tthen the polls opened arrived a little late at the last e lection and was told by one of his party friends that three men hud voted before him IJe lanced at his ballot and found that it was numbered
