Presbyterian Church last week when we had no such intention Owing to the fact that THE REPUBLICAN was crowded with jb Wi rk last week we were un able to report the news as it should have been besides being crowded with work our space was cut short lay ur liberal advertisers But really the editor of the Herald should be the very last man to reprove us for not reporting the news On the 24 II ultimo Mr BBCollins assaulted Mr G E Matlock in the office of MIG B Likens and the nominal editor refused to make mention ot this ml portent news item and this occured on Saturday night before the noisy
