M1 IJecknor of Clark went into the convention with 31 instructed vote Fitzpatrick 1Lykinsj of Morgan H and Turner of Montgomery II votes It required 88 to nominate After some thing like twentyfive ballots were taken it being in each instance as above stated the friends of Turner weing there was no chance of lids getting the nomination he was withdrawn and his eleven votes went to Fitzpatrick
