A FOUL MURDER George Basks Waylays and kills Newt Tanlboe Early Tuesday morning tho news came to town stating that Nowt Taulboo had boon shot and killed on Lucy Creek The partic ulars learned are as Hollows Newt Taulbee aud George Banks who are halfbrothers havo boon at outs for a year or BO and it is said that threats to kill have been made by each of the partios at divers times Tuesday morn iiu g Taulboo started to Squire John D Roses to fix n mowing machine preparatory to cutting his grass Georgo Banks was at Judge Car sons home and suddenly loft just aftor which three shots wore fired so that suspicion at once pointed to him when Taulbee was rw ort ed as killed An examination of the ground showed that sonic one had Htood bohind a sycamore troo about 15 foot from the lend body and an examination of the hotly showed that ono shot had entered the right side and passed through i an other shot entered his breast just above the heart The body was lying face down and an inch or two to the right of his head a hole in the ground showed that another bullet had been fired at tho head of time prostrate man All throe bullets wore US calibre No one saw the killing hut Banks gave himself up and claimed self defense But the facts as above given provo tho fallacy of this fabrication Taulbee loaves a wife and eight children and Bunks has a wife and two children Officers of Primary The Democratic Excutive Com mittee of the 91st Legislative Dis trict of Kentucky pursuant to a call of the chairman of said Dis trict mot in the town of Hazel Green on the 20th day of July 1005 for the purpose of appointing election officers for the various precincts of said district for o Democratic primary election to be hold August 5th 1905 to nom inate u Democratic candidate for tho legislature of Kentucky to be voted for at the regular November election 1005- Ordered by said committee that after 12 oclock of the night of the 20th day of July 1005 no candi date for said ollico who line regis
