building used as a State house for Kentucky in which was con vened the first session of the Legisla ture was in Lexington on June 1792 in a log building two stories highstand ing near the center of the city on the cast side of Main street between Milt and Broadway It was only used asa Statehouse until the close of the second session on Dec 22 1792 The sum of 15 was appropriated to the person who cleans the Statehouse and 12574 for other expenses which included raising a pole and flag a table for the use of the State and repairs 4074 for the entire expense of the two ses sions for incidentals
