in the case of Noel Gaines against the Kentucky State Journal at Frankfort The fellow Gaines sued the Journal for an immense sum of money claiming that his reputation had been injured by a publication After a long drawn out trial the jury returned a verdict of 2030 One of the reasons given for the reversal is that the trial judge Judge Frank Peake refused to vacate th bench when it was clearly shown that he was prejudiced in the matter A new trial is ordered but we doubt that Gaines will push the case further IT is stated that the Pennsylvania railroad alone has 90000 idle care and 500 idle
