POSTOFFICE NAMES ft Kentucky is said to hold the ref c ord of all the States in the Union for towns with odd and unusual names and judging from sortie these names which were discovered by the stenographers at the Democratic State campaign headquarters this record seems to be well established and deserved One nf the stenographers as she came tom unusual name would write it down and the resulting list was imethng that one seldom s and would hardly be believed y the official gazateer of the pos office gives the names and is the authority cited During the cam niign letters were sent to persons in every one of the towns which are on the lit Eden wbichis in Butler county should properly come first in the list of towns and immediately after it would logically come Adam which isin Lawrence county E v is in Greene county and is a prom icing place altho small Cain s store is in Pulaski and this is tb first mention of the way in whit the first horn to woman earned his livelyhood after the ejection from the garden Abel the second born is in Laurel county So much fo the beginning Having gotten fairly started in the list the follow ing curious connection in names is to be
