Charles Sbotwell who Bro confined In the county jail here Information was given that friends had gone to London and other towns o secure firearms and assistance and that the attempt to rescue the prisoners was to be made after the electric light plant was seized and the lights put out County Judge Hose advised Jailer lien nett to secure a lot of guards which was at once done Jatle Bennett then went to the two Shotwclls and told them that should the attempt be made ho would kill them at the first warning Both professed Ignorance of the plot and sent to Corbln to warn the plotters to desist
