Feb 11 through the carelessness of the train crew Bro Fred P Bishop was thrown from the train receiving a fatal wound from which hodled on the following day at the Oklahoma City Catholic Hospital Bro Bishop was ono of our most active deacons and beloved by hoentlromam barsblp He came from Kentucky and from the very fire bo was active In the Maslera work Be was always ready to servo and the thought of failure nev er came to his mind We were together so much and his entire conversation would be about his family and about the church Hit de sire was to provide well for his family which be did and death His home is saddened for there be was so tender and affectionate He had a host of friends as wasevlno ed by the large concourse of businessmen and women In attendance at his funeral on a busy Saturday afternoon The church was packed and there were more people on the outside than bad gained entrance When the opportun tty was given these too came In and Viewed the remains with tearful eyes and saddened hearts Oh cruel death why didst thou come so soon For he was a noble young man and useful My acquaintance with him was of but a few months yet it was most pleasant He was a true yoked
